A Point of Faith

Crucible of civilization
Create unto a brand new nation
A segmented divination
To draw unto the people
Inside will they crawl unbound
Riddled with naught but fabulous sound
Cased in sheaves unlaced around
Never to return aground
Doth my spirit scream aloud
Unto gods omnipotent?
Has not my body all been found
To feed the many spirits?
Release my relished life profound
Fade my darkness through which we hound
Follow me into the light
The light of universal truth
O my Lords you do I see
I cannot see past you
Only within you
I crease my brow with this great thought
Knowing this heaviness be unsought
Gone now is it forever
Cast into oblivion
No longer am I ensnared
Freed under mine own pavilion
I heed you now in a new light
So unlike the evil that plagued me
The Lords great and mighty
Hate is but small and flighty
A belief cannot lie
Ever we'll hold on
The truth can hide
We have not died!
