Enlightenment

ever just want to lay down in dirt
roll around and smear it all between fingers and toes
enmesh your soul?
i found a place like that again
seems like in my search for my darkest point
i dig deep trenches and inhale rich birthrights
and fall into them, rushing thru the veins
will i take root this time? i wonder
between the blood pounding and letting
i grow green again
feels like magick, i am
