Moonwoven

There, under argent lighted Oake
amidst the monochromatic hues
of a night blessed with fullness of Moon
in a garden walled in stones
that whispered my name
over and over
as if savoring the taste of it,
I saw my heart laid open to the light.
Its simple beauty warmed by
a glow from without
that pulsed in rhythm with its beating.
Gossamer fingers frail as ivory lace
trailed life into my skin
filling my soul and being
with the song of life...
Bathed in the grace of goddess' wisdom
and love;
I touched the face of the daughter of the Moon
drew her down to me
and kissed lips softer than the roses
that grew there...
