Been a real

Been a real long time now
Eleven years and more
Since these visions of you
Flashed before me , many years
of split second images all
in the space of a flash of lightning
One moment I was in a cold and dimly
lit old warehouse , waiting for anything
the next moment I watched myself live
a lifetime with a beautiful woman
and before the hand on the clock could move
I was back in the empty warehouse
It was the clearest sights I'd ever had
of you , tho' I'd had glimpses of you
before
but never so many , never so detailed ,
never so
indelible
I don't know how I can describe how it
affected me then , I know even you
had a hard time understanding how you
affected me when I finally saw you walk
up to me , What did I want
hanging around you ?
