Not Touching

Not touching
having nothing to be touched
nor that to touch with
I feel it still
here in each moment
I feel you do too
the separation extreme
in degree
yet less than the exhalation
between one breath
and the next
almost nothing not quite everything
You reside here with me
not fully beside me
yet near and so very yes, dear
You know I feel I've found
another photograph of you
One of two if it is of you
that I have if
One of four if it is there exist
In total no more
pictures of you
could be looks like very like
taken around Where you had
been around When you were
there. two years before we ever
glimpsed one another
Four years prior to our merry meeting
You look amazing in the image and younger
much younger so much so I
doubt if it is of you
Of Course you won't say
even if it only might be
and I
can't even miss you
yet we do.
