You start each

Age Group: Adult
You start each day before me
Can I ever catch up?
I'm still dreaming as you eat lunch
As I sit here in the wee hours
before falling asleep
You've finished your morning tea
Were the croissants good today?
I realize as the sun marches the day
around the globe towards me
`Tis no wonder my dreams do not
talk to your dreams
we are not asleep at the same time!
Ah, but when we are
there is the real miracle
two people from a quarter of the globe apart
yet only two heartbeats distant
What I write here is perhaps
not
an epic ballad of romance
However, I refuse my muse a pen at my own peril
Still I wonder, mon amour, are there any words with
which
I can surround these following
That can make them resound throughout you?
