Giving me cause to regret
thinking you nice
making my request Midnite.
I tried everyone I knew
to find and remind you
Drove my car in circles
wore holes in my shoe
Just to reach you
Am I so dangerous to two with ?
I gave you my number, address and map
You didn't want to go ?
that's what NO is for
If you were not to show at my door
Having said yes* (* "I'd love to" ) , of you
I expected no less
Than your presence, being you
you seeing me seeing your essence
I'm sad to say I'm emptied
by loss
