there must be a place in here
when I was
That I can be again I notice the date hasn't
changed since the night that
began a year and almost ended us.
You wondered as I drift thru paper shadows of lifes, why ?
Perhaps to know again how
easy and hard it is to feel and love
All and none Perhaps to learn again how to
show stars shining thru these
eyes and hands The moon round and high
silvers my outstretched arms and freezes them empty of you
A few bells A few words and then .....................................
silence
awaiting a call
Hoping with you all is well Sad I am not, being but
your arms are as empty of me as mine of you yet
smiling about otherwise - wishing . . . you ?
there must be a place in there
When I'm not
That I will be .
