The words you brought today
how long I have waited for them to be true
And yet I'll feel unsure
Until I can reach out and touch you
I don't know why I'm ecstatically happy
`cept that you are
I don't know where, in your mind, we are
`cept perhaps past a bit of the
getting to know each other stuff
Can I ever know what it was like for you
trapped in the best of circumstances and hating it
Can I ever tell you of nights and days
I spent memorizing the ceiling, are there any words I can put
in front of
alone
To make it as terrible as it really is
I have missed you, I do miss you
I may even try to kiss you
well at least maybe ?
