The world of light and opportunity
Is not at all what it seems
Death and Destruction, Lies and Deceit
Are all that it wants to leave
The grass is greener on the other side
Take a look around, it's all in your mind
Come with me on this little trip
I'll show you the sites, not miss a beat
Come with me and get a grip
I'll be suprised if you aint on your feet
If by now you dont realize
There's a war a fightin across the sea
Death and Destruction is layin there
Now dont you tell me you dont agree
One for the money, two for the show
Alot of these soldiers dont wanna go
Come with me on this little trip
I'll show you the sites, not miss a beat
Come with me and get a grip
I'll be suprised if you aint on your feet
From here to there, there's lots to see
From there to here, there's no where to hide
For you and me, there's a place to be
For me and you, there's a way to die
For me alone i know whats for real
For you alone your gonna be dealed
Lies and deceit are all thats left
Cause the world aint messin, aint leavin a trace
Forget to give, forgive to get
Whatever it is you've lost the chase
Stop and smell the roses
Cause it's the last you'll ever do
Come with me on this little trip

I'll show you the death and not miss a creep

I'll be suprised if you're still on your feet
Author's Notes: some things will be tweaked with it but its something i made that i wanna try oto make into a song for the band im trying to create called God Sold Religion. Feel free to critique this all you want. More pieces are to follow
