Sometimes it must
by Cee Are
Age Group: Adult
Sometimes it must be
that our calls pleas
for anyone to love
us please
go askitter or askew
or even just astray
alighting upon the
unintended heart
and we fall unaware
into what later will be called
wrong
astounded that anything
to do
with love
could be wrong
How can our heartstrings
be aimed
so
carefully
at
one another
and yet so many
arrows
for
naught
