Some times you're

Some times you're confused by
The quantity and qualities of these
words - prose, poems or songs
I've felt them, wrote them and sent them and you've wondered
why ?
I won't apologize ('tho I know it'll soon seem you could stack
them to the sky)
For it is not often that my muse awakens
and allows me meaning in setting paper to pen
and I feel blessed for she requires at least intense affection for
another
So I share these words with you
As the object of my inspiration (thank you)
These words are both my foundation
and flexibility, without them I become
Either boneless or so hard shelled I cannot bend
So I send these small pieces of my selves
To encourage a flow of feelings and
Improve our emotional wealth
I hope they resonate fresh and clear and
Do not jangle your nerves
like discordant tones
For to share, express joy and bring you near
I send you these, my bones
