it seemed but a few hours
Ago that I knew you so well
Why do you lie so still
You know my love will never fade
Unlike those flowers upon your breast
Why do you breathe so low
You were just around the bend

Ago that it would never end
You know I'd give any thing for
Another chance and this I say
As I kneel before you
I watch your window for hours
On end for a change

why do you look so pale
Your kiss is like winter's chill
Somebody washed dark red from
Their car and I sit and ask why
But for you my love will never
End, my love will never end
As I kneel before your grave.
