Moonlit skies within

Moonlit skies within a silken hand
pinked silver palms reaching across the sky
From you to I from you to I
The slightest whisper of skin on skin
draws me back to where we begin
From me to thee from me to thee
A petal drifting on a glass lake in the wind
a rainbow glowing in a thundering cloud of mist
echoes across a swelling sea
The one between you plus me
Breathing slows as static grows
blue green sparks leaping across the sky
From you to I from you to I
Your touch reaches me out of days yet to be
surely affirming a next joining of we
From me to thee from me to thee
A rose blooming in a pair of clasped hands
thoughts from me to where you will stand
You can hear them when your heart's not still
if you use your passions, emotions and will
I love you, my love, my lady, my life
