Listening / / I hope I give you
strength out of my weakness.
should I come down and inter cede?
no . . . I am both too early and
too late so I shall sit uncomfortably
in the non - involvement of my involvement
sitting out the cruel kindness
of An adamant interrogation on
subjects I can feel but not quite
catch ( I perceive that it doesn't
matter what such things are about
not even if they don't concern me
I am still concerned ) I hear the
lightness of your voice swaying
song against Tiberius the Caesar
who proclaims that all must be
like him so that he won't have
to suffer the visible strangeness
of his debauchery and drunkenness
alone. Sometimes I only can
empathize too far.
