Just forget I

Just forget I said anything at all
Watch me turn away, laugh behind my back
Grin madly over my imagined lack
Refuse politely when I call
You don't try to lie, just leave out the fact
You don't care about your sighs
I hear them anyway
Broken wishes near and nigh
I want to say try to live
Won't see without your eyes . . .
Say good bye to the day
Only scuffed up ruby shoes
Tired of balls shaded blue
Pent desires, lacking you
Some one else I'll find
Not because you're never true
Say good bye to the day
And fare thee well to the night
Live only in the dawn
Echoes stirred in twilight
My reality blurred by your
darkening Firelight
