I've tried to tell

I've tried to tell you
What went wrong
Now I'll hide some answers in a song
So here we stand
Alone in our miseries
Trying to fool ourselves
That we've lived thru another day
While in reality
It just passed us by
Together alot of our problems would disappear
But you won't let me touch you and
Only thrice have you reached for me
I've forgiven every time
You've been careless with my heart
`Tho it seems you will not do the same
I'll fade without you
I wish you'd admit you've felt the shame
For wanting me to love you and
When I've tried to
You've given me the blame
You won't see what you've got
Especially after I'm gone
How many rights do I have to make
To erase my three wrongs
of being there
Each time you've reached to take.
