- you can hold for hours
- you can be with
- you can caress
- you can pet
- you can dance with
but the one who shelters you
the one who gives freely more than he has
him you hurt
repeatedly
could you pretend you only met me
fifteen minutes ago . . .
so we could be lovers
instead ?
