Friday Thru chill

Thru chill winds
I hope our embraces can warm your spine
Watching the promenade
reflected in your eyes
grace lithe
May I tire never
of looking longingly at you
slow deep stares ripening
into many smiles, large and small
Trying to place the memory of your face
Far behind my eyes
- The evening punctuated
by Canadian entrance exam
Later ensconced almost alone
amid neon splendor
the dance continues
to begin since first I touched
eyes to you
Moved to motion
by song sound and sparse lights
Moved to emotion
by rhythmic grace and your flash lit face
- Next another nightclub
I had hoped was new
and was to me if not to you
Another level of dance and flirting
Strobes making a million
photos of your lovely shape
emphatic sparks fly
in the gyrating distance
betwixt you and I
the distance lessening
to a smooth swaying embrace
as the club slows to a finale
a tender lust sweetens our holding
onto each other
sensation flows into each other
Getting as lost on the way back
as we are in our hearts
After a teasing attempt to
get you to spend the night together
I park outside your residence
and we delve into our feelings and hearts
With lips and hands we explore
fierce and bridled passions
With words and mouths we seek
our hopes, dreams and answers to our fears
I give you my heart
and kiss away gently your tears
I will not bind you with promises
even if they seem as soft and pleasant
as satin sheets and silk ropes
Rather for as long as you
wish, I would wish to be with
you in any and all ways you choose
to share and I will cherish whatever
moments we have as precious.
