Aside we walk
by Cee Are

Aside we walk
while wanting, wishing
To be more than beside each other
Myriad - facetted gems encrust everything
Minute mirrors shift and glitter kaleidoscopically
And fills our minds with stardust sparkles
Holding hands in hands in pockets of one another
Crushing the coral lattice of frozen clouds 'neath our feet
As we come to where droplets of lakes
And oceans fell, flowed and froze together
Forming shiny glass sheets
Which our footing loses itself on
As we clutch, hold on
Tighter to keep from
Slip - falling on ice
Slip - falling out of each others' touch
And I\you laugh steaming rushes of warm breath
In your\my ears while we envelope
Each other with each other
Two spheres of tenderness meltingly
Melt into one
And as we walk from there
We are more one than other
I feel that tenderness which flows - from
Your head down your spine and softens in your
hips/ As I feel your body sway ( feeling through many layers of
well tangled lamb hairs ) up a hill, over a w (h) ire passing
from Illegal to Legal
existence in front of rays of thousand focused candles
Trying to think where we could go
That I could show you the sun over the
Mountain
Wishing that your parents could not hear or see us
When we did not want them to
Walking thru a maze of candy canes,
In the door
Realizing wishes have not come true,
I'd like to take two hours - - before saying
My leave,
But hypocrites seldom agree to equality
So I step outside
Try to touch
I feel lips drawn
but
Thoughts cut \ \
Hassled time
And a last glimpse
( of your sorrowed
longing face )
Sliced off by a slamming door
So I turn
And begin my long journey away
From my home ( you )
I might have gotten
Frostbitten
But your love for me kept me
Quite well thawed.
