My Heart,

What you have given me
resounds from the depths of my soul.
What you have shared
with me holds me in thrall.
What you have taught me
makes me thirsty for more knowledge.
What you have shown me I
have seen with brand new eyes.
What you bring into my life
I crave for more.
You have brought hope, light,
love and laughter back into my heart and soul.
No mere words can describe
the gratitude and honor
that you have brought into my heart and life.
Yet, I thank you.
You are a gift of which I will always cherish.
