Once In A Blue Moon...

Again, another time
your gaze envelopes me -
my questions answered
with your illumination.
Maiden of youth
blooming under your watchful gaze -
your children dance to honor you
with joy and love.
Mother of all,
you gather us
to your breast
nourishing our lives.
Grandmother of wisdom,
the ages abound
with knowledge forefront
You, the eternal teacher.
I thank thee, O Beauteous One
Sweet Lady of the Night
you bless your children all
again once more with this wondrous sight.
Author's Notes: 7/30/04 - A little early for the midwest, but I couldn't turn off the muse...she's dancing south/southeast tonight.
