I'm Coming Home

I heard the call too late again -
the in-between held me too long
and I almost let go
when I never had before
even when released
to the wilds.
I heard the call too late again -
your cry to save you from yourself
and I almost let go
when I really never had before
only seemed so to release
you to the wilds.
I heard the call too late again -
as others held you back and you let them
and I almost let go
when I really never had before
only seemed so to let them think
you were released to the wilds.
I heard the call too late again -
but not for me this time - I've chosen my heart
and I let it all go
when I never wanted to before
and in doing so I released myself
to the wilds.
I'm Coming Home..........
