You never knew the skeins
of agony that ran in my veins...
Or the dark, troubled past
that seemed to forever last...
You never saw the vicious pain
burgeoning and always seeming to gain...
Masses of stark white rainment
leaving wastelands that was my detriment...
You touch lightly upon the pall
that grazed your sunny walls...
Never seeing the truth
that would always be your proof....
I hid myself in darkness.....
