Come my child

Age Group: Adult
Come my child
I’ll take thee
To a place you see in dreams
Where fairies ride on unicorns
And dragons spread their wings
Come my child
Let me lead
You through the veil of mist
It’s easy to get lost, small one
But a trip well worth the risk
Come my child
You will see
A land you thought was make believe
I’ll put you on a strong white horse
Become a knight on his proud stead
Come my child
Let us ride
A visit to the king
Torn between his two great loves
The Lady and his queen
Come my child
We’re not through
I’ve saved the best for last
You see those women, all in white
The shadows of the stones
You see my child
In this place
Their voices rise in song
Of one same sky over the earth
One mother for us all
And so my child
Leave today
The world from in your dreams
Remember as the dragons die
And fairies lose their wings
The stones still point
Up to one sky
The women join and sing
The notes of past on threads of wind
Calling her to me
