Blodeuwedd

I am Blodeuwedd, created out of the flowers nine.
To serve a man they say is thine.
With no choice, he reigns as king
Binding his life with mine.
As the maiden innocent and pure
serving his needs through out the year,
Passing my time with his service and needs,
There must be more than tedious deeds.
I see a spark of light, on the distant Glenn
Happiness around the bend, will it be here soon?
For the woman inside has started to bloom,
Slowly pushing out the mans gloom.
Making choices, As I flower into my full womanhood
How to make myself understood.
Man’s dark cloud hovers over my head,
Plots and plans go unsaid.
Which way to turn, who to choose,
What do I have to loose?
All I want is to be set free,
hopefully my choices release me.
Transforming into the Owl wise
Keeping my mysteries from prying eyes
Guiding me thru the starry night,
Enveloping me in your wings so tight
Revealing your secrets, within silent flight.
Empowering me with your ancient sight.
I am Blodeuwedd made of the flowers nine
I have developed in my own time
look inside and you will see
I am all I ever wanted to be
The Owl’s wings, have set me free.
