Mother daughter pledge

Mother Daughter Pledge
Heart to heart mind to mind
I bind our connection, yours and mine.
together our souls entwine
each one bound to the other
yet separate, from one another
For you are my daughter, and I your mother
Our pledge today, is for us to stay
forever connected
Even when apart, we will know
each others heart
Author's Notes: this was written for my daughter, we had a ritual to help her be less nervous about us being apart.
