I Want.....

I want to feel the sun's rays
Holding their sway over me.
Guiding my time on this Earth,
And my time beyond.
I want to see the moon
And have its magic move me.
Its celestial light covers me in a robe
And allows me to spin my magic.
I want to feel the wind
Protecting my spirit and soul.
Creating a shield
Where only the Gods and I choose who enters.
I want to follow the path of the flowing river
Guiding my soul through pain and happiness.
Creating a path for me to follow
But giving openings to divert.
I want to be consumed by the fire
Existing in my soul.
Fueling my strength
And guiding my actions.
I want to freeze the uncertainty in my heart
So that I may fully awaken.
There is no danger created by my choices,
There is no sadness I brought about.
I want to dive deep in to the caves
To connect with the living Earth.
Feeling the ground beneath me
Teeming with ancient primal energy.
I want to fly above in the clouds
Feeling their empowerment.
So thin with so much strength
Guarding the gates to other realms.
I want to find the other half of my soul
To serve him as my Lady serves my Lord.
With never ending commitment and love,
The feeling of loneliness long forgotten.
I want to walk among the stars
Joining my true masters.
Forever in the grace of their presence,
Forever in their house.
I want the magic of the Gods
To break the chains of my humanity.
Freeing my celestial spirit and unlocking my true self,
Breaking down the barriers of the mortal plane.
Author's Notes: This is a poem that I have had for about 6 months. I wrote it little by little and added all of the verses together. It is a reflection of my soul as it is right now. I am already working on some of them. Let me know what you think.
