To Become a Grandmother
by Goddess child
Age Group: Adult
Sing your love and dance your freedom
Write your dreams in the air and breathe them
Find your God in tree and stone
While walking in the woods alone
Cook with beauty
Laugh with grace
Love how Time has shaped your face
Remember bits of women's lore
And pass them on, as those before
You are the spiraling incense breath
That nurtures Life and comforts Death
Now hoist the jug of cooling water
And soothe the brow of your birthing daughter
