Storm

Crystal tears
cling to my lashes
exposing my fears
when the thunder crashes
I hate the storm
it darkens my day
lightning streaks the sky
and I can't fly away
But as I sob in the dark
my soul finds a light
and I can dry my tears
and face the stormy night
