Mother Earth: Who Remembers

by Chev. Rev. Brijdrix de Prytani - Sangraal
 Age Group: Adult

"Mother Earth remembers all the glories of even the Artemesium at Ephesus from the grand columned halls to the offerings of some of the people of Egypt, Russia, and Britain on to the gardens in honor of The Huntress.
Mother Earth remembers all the remnants of all of her native children even of Arcadia, Etruria, Carthage, Keltia, more whilest other lesser known monuments lay buried deep within her treasure troves of the Earth.
Mother Earth even remembers the little naked blonde five year-old boy at Woodstock in 1969 and those well-meaning souls who stepped on his unshod toes in the Mother's wet mud.
Honor the past. . .The Earth remembers all.
Mother Earth must certainly remember how some cut down rain forests for toilet paper, strip-mine the land for building stone, wantonly develop natural lands for real estate profit, create unneeded want for profit, remove the Mother's crystyline treasures on massive scales, and in so doing exile native people's forever from their homes and from their sources of sustenance.
Mother Earth must certainly remember the ashes of all those who perished at Aushwitz as well as the hacked up tombstones as some very prime examples of how a few will always seem to strive to revise history to make events that are false -- true.
Mother Earth must certainly remember the conflicts over land "claims, " how sacred places become Temples, how Temples become Synagogues, how Synagogues become Churches, how Churches become Mosques. Mother Earth in remembering these things must smile through her tears.
Live today. . .Here and now is sacred.
Mother Earth Remembers All.
Who will remember Mother Earth if she dies because her children cannot or will not nurture her as completely as she nurtures us? How will we survive if we are all stretched so thin fighting spectres while HIV/AIDs mutates and eradicates African children while we secretly consume food engineered in a laboratory or worse all too busy to deal with that asteroid coming 2012? Who will support those working tirelessly to protect just a little space of Mother Earth in an appropriate manner and why do some continue to persist on eradiaction of native peoples and the native wisdom?
Create tomorrow. . .Take only pictures, leave only footprints."
