Canticle To My Love

To the love that seeks for me,
I, too, have saught for he;
O'er the world
Like the swan -- here and gone;
Stoned by ugly ducklings.
We see the serene sunlit setting,
Join our hearts -- spectres depart!
Together, dream to dream.
A toast to we -- Believe and receive!"

Author's Notes: 1. Wassail. Not only the splendid, spiced, autumn and winter beverage but originally was a toast as well.
2. It was a spactacular sunset we have experienced this past week indeed.
3. This Canticle is lovingly dedicated to Vincent Van Gogh, Leonardo Da Vinci, and Emily Dickinson -- the world today needs people who can think in brilliant new ways. I see the bridge, the mist veils the end of the bridge, but we have that faith.
