Lady Not So Fair

Lady Not So Fair
I walk along the filthy streets,
Taking the chance that I could meet
A Lady of evening with whom I could spend the night,
Saw her standing there beneath a sign,
NO PARKING HERE, 10 dollar fine,
In the twilight of the evening, she was not an unpleasant sight,
Asked her to join me on a stroll,
Said we must avoid local patrols,
For the wares that she was peddling were illegal to merchandise
Agreed she did to accompany me,
To a motel displaying vacancy,
A place where to commit the sins people wish not to advertise,
Oh Lady now apply your skills,
Every fantasy I have fulfill,
Remove the problems of a lifetime if only for a little while,
Restore my Faith in monies worth,
That dollars can remove my hurt,
Told me she cannot relieve the suffering over a lifetime I've compiled,
My One Night Lover there I did leave,
Had no heart to bare upon her sleeve,
She was aware that sex and love were different animals,
Back at home I now think of the pain in me
That Lady Not So Fair said she cannot relieve
The pain that lurks inside us all, turns us into cannibals.
