A Little

"A Little"
(I used to a little, but a little wouldn't do it,
so the little got more and more -G'n'R)
Dragons are chased the agony is replaced by a euphoric embrace of endorphins that erase of the pain with their release instilling a temporary peace,
Acting on the CNS, a little valuim and percocet to some of us we must confess, allow physical and emotional feelings to be depressed, deadening inner regrets, calming insane thoughts plague us like juggernauts, saving innocents from incidents and our turmoil in which they are caught, so glad that such cures can be bought, until someday, someway an answer found to this behavior that society's fraught, worth every dollar and penny it costs, '
Till that day comes, we all deal with our pain, a learned method many look on it with destine, points of needles enter the veins helping many to refrain, providing the strength needed to maintain and stay upon this even plain,
Don't feel alone in this situation, many others use this type of sedation, pharmaceutical's and street wise medications, realities a life long affliction, accentuating everyone's hidden addictions, at one time or another we seek out a chemically induced vacation from life's confrontations and complex relations,
There's a world were the rock stars don't play high dollar guitars, produce platinum records or drive expensive cars, their biggest admirers are cold hearted conspirers who keep them addicted when their not behind bars to the little stones they smoke alone, robs them health their wealth and home,
Every now and then some of us escape this world of pain to which few relate and some find their way back to what some call normalcy, a life some live so happily, possibly it was not their destiny to die on the deprived streets were so many lost souls meet their defeat, against the pain of the world they just couldn't compete and find sleep in a hole six feet deep.
