Shared A Dream

Shared A Dream
Still waters are said to always run deep,
As do the thoughts in my head as I sleep,
If it's into my dreams that you wish to creep,
Remember there to prepare for no promises well be for keeps,
Rivers run long and wide in my nocturnal mind,
Beware of terrors found there, because that could be all that you'll find,
Fantasies flowing free all through me with memories gained over time,
Still do you wonder sometimes why it is that I cross insanity's lines,
I heard a voice said make a choice on your life's destinies,
I told it I want to be King bring me reign over everything that I see,
It replied the price is quite high for no one gets such dreams for free,
Trade my soul and a bag full of gold for unproved prophesies,
Now that you share in all that is there the very vivid nightmares,
Feel my loneliness surrounded by beings that say they no longer care,
Does if feel quite as real and what to it can you compare,
You see now why I wake in a state of always deepening despair,
I dream they want all I own take my throne and my home,
Feel my paranoia it annoys ya to be inside my head all alone,
I never deceived you, you agreed too, felt the need too, and came on your own,
We try to awake to escape the bonds that we make while caught in the zone,
Now that we're separate again are you still my friend,
Did the knowledge you gained on my pain help you comprehend,
Realities to much for me and now you know it's pretend the message I send,
Can you understand why I get outta hand and sometimes pray for the end.
