Change of Season, Heart and Role

A Summer's end lets Fall begin
As leaves turn and die
Yellow, orange, and stiffened stems
Then crimson shades arrive
Did the flower hide or cower
From Autumns first frost?
Or except the icy shower
And were the petals lost?
The shorter days doth give away
To night and the moon
Slowly he begins to wane
Though changed, she is renewed
She’s stronger now and singing loud
Her voice carries far
He no longer mutes her sound
So she sings to the stars
Her love for him does not end
But is apt to change
Her own self-love she must mend
Being burnt from his flames
Natures pattern, time and matter
And so the wheel turns
Winter's silence, Spring's clamor
Fall's change and Summer's burn
Author's Notes: She will always love Him as the Goddess loves the God, yet She needs to be able to love herself too. As he does himself. Sometimes that requires a change in their relationship to achieve this. This year's fall brought many changes for me. As the wheel, as the seasons, change is nessicary and an absolute.
