This Solstice night we've eaten our fill;
with your enveloping rays
our bodies, souls, minds - nurtured.
Not relevated to the Mother's shadow,
Father God, we see your Light -
the world sees your Light.
Our ritual tonight honors you
honors the womb which birthed
this primeval Earth, this Universe.
Our fears and weaknesses, mortal dramas
and controlling tongues and minds, believing
other than the living powers we weild -
banish these ill vices!
And in those places, rotting, impotent, hopeless -
Nothing remains but the searing Sun's rays
shown down to illuminate this day.
This day was for planning, purging,
preparing and purifying; for laughter
and passion in Your name.
And in Your name, this Circle stands as one,
and as one, we give our voice to you and your faces,
to your Hunter's call, and the call
of Pan's dark grape, to your wilds
and clear sky, and your Dame.
We fire the Grid! The Grid is - aflame.
Author's Notes: "Fire the Grid" was something mentioned at the Forums I go to, of pagans across the globe giving positive Energy to the Earth for healing. The poem above was my tribute to my Circle's ritual, and was an Energy release.
