When i found the Goddess

Age Group: Teen
In my room I sat, and to the goddess I did call
I prayed to her picture, which hung up on my wall
Candles lit, circle doth cast
I sought out the future and brought from the past
But now I sit and wonder why
I always call her but she does not reply
I think to myself, “I have done everything right”
Please goddesses please, show yourself tonight!
I plea and I plea but still no reply
I blew out my candle, and thought with a sigh
“If no sign of her tonight”, to myself I thought
Then my faith in her will began to rot.
I cannot help the way I feel
But the hurt inside is just too real!
With a thought of guilt of what I just said
I fell fast asleep upon my bed.
I woke to a faint taping upon door
Could it be, mother, father, friend or
A beauty with wings, hovered like a bee
She grabbed my hand and began to lead me
Through the woods, the trees, the creatures
Changes of colors, shapes and features
What is this place, never seen it before
I saw a lot. Then wanted to see more
Those living there greeted me with a grin
All. Children, elders, women and men
“Who are all of you”, I asked in a shy tone
They spoke, “We are all. the maiden, the mother, the crone”
But I don’t understand I said,
You’re all alive, isn’t she dead?
No, they told me, shes very alive
Shes that extra you that you feel inside.
She is in anything and everything that will ever be
Shes in him, her and even in me!
She is our energy that keeps us alive
Shes the will in you that helps you to strive
Please have faith, because shes always there
Your never alone, do not live in fear!
And snap! Just like that, I do awake
My BODYS ALIVE! SO ALIVE, I do shake!
I feel you goddess, I pray to thee!
Your very much alive, alive in me!
