Spirited Horse

Pegasus is the spirit
The spirit of a writer
The mind is boundless
The lifestyle is carefree
Run through the forest
Fly through the sky
Gallop on the treaded path
Fancy free and burdenless
The rope comes down on your head
You struggle like mad
You try to break away
Trying to find your captor
You dart your eyes around
Eyes like golden sunshine
Held in a state of fright
Help the captured!
A person appears in your sights
He doesn't seem cruel
He seems almost calming
With and incomparable inner strength
He croons to you in a soft voice
He attempts to calm your fright
You stop struggling
You go back to normal
He caresses your face
He stares deeply into your eyes
You cannot break free
You are held captive by his gaze
He bends his head down
Your lips meet
You are on a cascade of emotion
One that you cannot break
You are overpowered
By the inner strength that he possesses
You both are bonded
In mind, heart and spirit
This is what love does
Even to the most spirited two
It is so wonderful and glorious
Let love flow through you
