Winter

Skies so silver white
made so bright
still so light
Noises encasing all around
music beating round
rythm pounding in background
The pat-pat beat of the rain as it lands
Light fog covering air, land, and where we stand
winds caressing grand
Grasses still so green in December found
Brown leaves scatter the ground
houses circle serenely sound
Author's Notes: written december 23rd just before the big winter blizzard.
