shadows lasting echo

the darkness consumes infinitely ...ever pulling, ever grasping at my cold soul.
in this end life i have tried to embrace the light and beauty....but always the dark echo of emotions consumes me dragging me down to the muck and mire of past life and dishonor, it seems and endless battle trying to rise to the light like a golden phoenix being born for the first time with the shadow grasping at his feet the battle evermoore.
the hope , nah the test. is to reach the lite before dragged down to the lasting echo of the past.
