Honor

What we see, isn't always hear.
But isn't all the same?
But not too plain?
We look for something higher, look toward the sky
We don't need a deity
We don't need a god or goddess
We just need nature to stand beside us
We rely on nature to provide
We should honor nature and all it's wonders
Not just the primordial deity's we so hunger
But what we have around us
We have more to thank than just what's above
Being pagan isn't about god and goddess'
Powers an abilities
But what's within our hears and minds
Nature rules, it only allows us to stay
We rip and tear at the mother we walk upon with no remorse for her pain
She allows us to stay, even though we destroy her
We are one with nature and nature is one with us
We are no higher than nature and not lower than it
We are equal
Honoring what allows us to keep our homes and lives is something not to take for granted
We should honor nature with every ritual we do
With every decision we make
And maybe then, she will be a bit more forgiving to those who her rip her apart.
