Goddess's Own

The house was cold, I turned up the heat,
And thought of the woman, I'd seen on the street.
She wasn't there by choice, but by mans greed,
Goddess created plenty for everyone's need.
They said, "She's a bag lady, so pay her no mind,
She's old & homeless, she isn't our kind!"
Our kind? I wonder how can people say that,
Except for the grace of Goddess, we would be where she's at!

Author's Notes: People often don't stop to thank the Goddess for all that she offers us. Lest we not judge, to walk awhile in someone's elses shoes is not always a option. Who is to say that the old lonely woman on the street someday could even be us. Be thankful for all you have. Blessed Be ; )
