Elvis Has Left The Building

Age Group: Adult
He is the King of rock & roll,
His music would touch your very soul.
Born in Tupelo in 35, one of a twin to survive.
With his guitar in his hand, he sang & traveled thru-out the land.
He was handsome & debonair, he loved his friends & he did care.
He was loved by thousands, thats no doubt.
His great entertainment brought this about.
And then one terrible, tragic day, Elvis Presley passed away.
He's gone home w/ Goddess on high, we didn't get a chance to say good-bye.
And as the breezes softly blow, we must let Elvis go,
We love you Elvis from our hearts, it's so sad we had to part.

Author's Notes: Written for my dad who I swear is Elvis's biggest fan.
