Dear Goddess

I asked you to let me be happy, & to free me from all the pain.
I prayed & poured my heart out for hours, & your answer finally came.
If there was no pain, no love to regain, then for what would we want to live.
There would be nothing at all to strive for, & nothing at all to give.
No problems to share w/ others, so that nothing would be in common.
Nothing to bring understanding, nothing to let love in.
She said, "Yes little one, I give you pain, but I give you release w/ tears, "
"And I give you friends to share them w/, who will walk you through your fears."
"So trust me, & try to be thankful, for all lifes aches & pains, "
For thats when you will remember to come to Me again."
