She's Gone

She's gone & I miss her, the pain goes on & on,
The years have not diminished her life, her love, her song.
She's gone but I still miss her, this sister, this friend, this mom,
The years have not erased her spirit, strength, & calm.
She's gone & the world is missing this woman of soul & heart,
Her life was cut too early, her life just got it's start.
The question of a woman's strength to me does not belong,
For all in me that's good or great, from her was passed along.
She's gone & I still miss her, this hero, this friend, this mom,
I long so much to hold her, "My Goddess Sweet Goddess...She's gone!!"
