A Grandparents Love

Age Group: Adult
Her eyes are like the sky of blue, her skin like fallen snow,
Curls of gold surround her head, & set her all aglow.
She's full of love for everyone, it's very plain to see,
And when she smiles that special smile, I know it's meant for me.
We sing & dance, & march in time, around the living room,
We laugh & play each in our way, enjoying every move.
Then all at once the doorbell rings, it's mom & dad I fear,
To claim there child, return to home, which brings a little tear.

Author's Notes: Written for my mom after seeing her play w/ her grandkids, then cry when it was time for them to return home after there visit.
