How can I stop these thoughts in my head,
There are so many, I am filled w/ dread.
Depression has gripped my heart & soul,
No longer meaning, no longer a goal.
Everyday has now become a true struggle,
Anger, pain & resentment are all what I juggle.
Empty & numb, are now what I feel,
Don't know how to cope, nor how to deal.
A smile no longer touches my face,
Sorrow & tears have taken it's place.
Nothing matters, I am a empty shell,
Isolated living, in my own little hell.
A void & darkness has me in a hold,
Left shattered, desperate, bitter & cold.
I can't make sense of these things I feel,
Is it a dream, or is it real?
Do I give up, or try to move on?
Will happiness find me, or does it not belong?
There are tears I've caused & tears I've shed,
There were many things left unsaid.
My body & mind are defeated,
Emotions & love....there depleated.
Let me go & don't look back,
There's no room, it's a one way track.
A danger sign across my heart,
Everything I touch falls apart.
You will hear promises made & promises were broken,
Always & forever are now never spoken.
Day by day is a hard enough task,
No more pain is all that I ask.
If you look close all that you'll see,
Is a broken empty person....yes, thats me.
