The Power

I draw my power from the earth
My strength from the sun
My breath from the wind
My tears are like the rain
That falls from the clouds
The day is the cycle of my life
Each day I awake
Praising the gods
I am alive
For I am a flower
On the face of this planet
To be shared enjoied and loved
For who I am

Author's Notes: I wrote many things trying to find a way to deal with a very diffucult time in my life back at the begining of the new mellinnia (sp) . So I have several things said in many different ways.
I remembered I had this poem, and it helped me come to deal with my feelings then as it does now.
