Colorful Smiles

Fall leaves have come-
To remind us that autumn is fun.
Smelling the crisp autumn air-
Watching Leaves dancing without a care.
They spiral and twirl all around-
Gently, floating upon the ground.
Later to be raked into a heap-
Rustling within winds, putting us to sleep.
Golden, red, orange, and brown-
Watch them as they tumble down.
Blanketing the earth-
Protecting roots, that will later give rebirth.
Sometimes falling like a shower of rain-
They never fall the same.
Falling until trees are bare-
Staying as long as they dare.
Coating their parents core-
Giving heartfelt warmth forevermore.
Be grateful for this autumn child-
Always give thanks for their colorful smiles.
